When your email system is linked to the Bolstra platform, each time an email is sent to a contact in Bolstra or received from a contact in Bolstra it will log the email under the correlating account.
The email can also be logged in a designated swim lane.
You can use the Email Mapping to choose which lane an email falls into when sent or received and if you would like a separate lane designated for any emails that did not successfully attach to the assigned Account. (The “Fail Activity Lane”)
1. Log into Bolstra and access the Administration page
2.On the far left sidebar choose “Email Mapping”
“Fail Activity Lane” is not tied to whether or not the email was sent. It is in reference to if the email successfully attached to the account in Bolstra or not. If it does fall into the fail activity lane the activity card will need to be opened and assigned an account, otherwise, the email will not be attached to the account history and will remain in the Fail Activity Lane.
